Tesselaar Grombaard is a robust blond beer with 5.0% Vol. Alc. Brewed at the Family Brewery on Texel. Deliciously refreshing with a full flavor of barley malt, wheat malt, and four different hop varieties for a gentle bitterness in the finish. A specialty beer brewed with a unique name, “Grombaard.” The old Dutch word for anyone who, in the past, stood ready for Peace and Security! Grommen means to roar, and baard is the abbreviation for halberd.
