His Dudeness, or The Dude, was ‘born’ after watching the cult film The Big Lebowski by the Coen brothers. In the film, main character ‘The Dude’ Lebowski downs one White Russian after another. Until then, the cocktail (made from vodka, coffee liqueur, and cream or milk) was typically considered an old-fashioned and boring drink, but in the late eighties, thanks to the film, the White Russian experienced a true revival and the cocktails were flying off the shelves. This ‘White Russian’ became a Russian Imperial Milk Stout. A powerful yet ‘easy going’ beer for anyone who wants to feel like El Duderino. A Russian Imperial Stout is high in alcohol. In earlier times, the Russians traded a lot with England, where they enjoyed drinking stout. They took the recipe home, but found it too weak. In Russia, a stout quickly became much stronger.
