The Lowlander 0.3% Organic Blonde Ale is an organic, low-alcohol ale with rosehip and elderflower. The rosehip and elderflower provide a smooth and full flavor with a floral finish. This organic beer pairs well with sweet and sour dishes featuring fruit. The beer is inspired by the Dutch explorer Maria Sibylla Merian, who traveled to Suriname in 1699 to study her great passion: butterflies. Years later, this journey inspired the Amsterdam-based brewery Lowlander botanical beers to create the alcohol-free Blonde Ale.
