This Spanish melon owes its name to its green, bumpy skin that resembles the skin of a toad. The melon originates from Spain and is mainly grown in the La Mancha region. Contrary to the name, the melon is particularly tasty. The white flesh is exceptionally sweet and at the same time refreshing in taste. Delicious to use in, for example, a fruit salad, smoothie, or in a cold soup.
