The whipped cream charger is a legal product, widely used in the hospitality industry for culinary purposes. However, there is currently a development where whipped cream chargers are being used as a party drug. Whipped cream chargers contain nitrous oxide. Especially young people are abusing this. This is concerning because it is not known what repeated oxygen deprivation does to the (adolescent) brain.
HANOS does not want to contribute to this abuse. If there is doubt about the use of the whipped cream chargers for purposes other than culinary, we reserve the right to refuse sale. We also refuse the sale when there is suspicion of resale.
Sale and distribution of whipped cream chargers is only permitted to persons over 18 years old. In case of doubt, our staff may ask for a valid ID. We hope for your understanding of this measure.
