The Glen Moray distillery is located in the far north of the Scottish Speyside region, and as a result enjoys the mildest climate in the country. These conditions are ideal for the evaporation of the angel’s share, allowing the wood of the casks to play an important role in the development of the whisky. This smooth, spicy malt whisky from the Elgin Classic range has undergone several additional months of maturation in Chardonnay casks. This adds layers of sweet tropical fruit and warm spices to the traditional notes of oak and vanilla, resulting in an intense and unique tasting experience.
