This sweet and full-bodied Glen Moray is finished in Cabernet red wine casks, which has developed notes of spices and fruit, balanced with toasted oak vanilla and soft, warm flavors. After years of maturation in ex-Bourbon oak casks, the single malt is transferred to the wine casks for the final few months of aging, where it takes on all the intense notes of blackcurrants and sweet cherries from the Cabernet Sauvignon. You will also taste creamy vanilla, spices, and dark chocolate.
