This whisky is made from smoked malt and gets a finish in a rum cask. This is the fourth part of Glenfiddich's experimental series. A truly different Glenfiddich, not in the style you are used to, a real recommendation if you like whiskies from the islands. When it's in your glass, you immediately smell notes of peat smoke, but delicately. The peat used to dry the malt comes from north of Dufftown. In the taste, the smoke is less present and transitions to salmiak, quickly transforming into intense sweet tropical fruit.
