Hampden is produced using unique and partly secret methods that have remained unchanged since its founding. The result is a distillate with a distinct aromatic profile, largely thanks to an extremely high ester content. The rum has matured for 8 years in the tropical climate of Jamaica, which is almost equivalent to 25 years of aging in a European climate.
