Glen Moray 10Y Fired Oak a beautifully complex whisky, this beautiful 10Y is the culmination of years of careful experimentation by the master distiller. Graham Coull assessed the excellent vintages Glen Moray Elgin Classic at the end of the aging process and devised how they could be further transformed. He then selected the best American oak casks for the finish, supervised the charring of the casks to achieve just the right level of charring... and then waited patiently. For more than 10 magical months, the master distiller closely monitored the casks as the high-quality casks imparted their richness and produced a unique marriage with great taste and intense colors.
