A rich, smoky variant of the well-known Abuelo rum. This rum is composed of single estate reserves aged from 8 to as much as 40 years, matured in American whiskey (ex-bourbon) barrels. This gives this expression an unparalleled layering and complexity in taste. The second cask, heavily toasted virgin American oak, makes the rum very smooth, with a hint of smoke and finesse.
