Nobushi Pure Malt is produced at the Miyagi distillery, nestled in the serene mountains of northern Japan. Nobushi benefits from the purity and richness of its natural surroundings. For this Pure Malt Whisky, they selected the finest barley from the prefectures of Miyagi, Nagano, and Hokkaido, combined with the crystal-clear and pure water from the Kiyokawa mountains. Maturation for at least five years in Mizunara oak casks gives this whisky a unique and recognizable character. On the nose, warm mixed nuts and raisins. On the palate, vanilla with almonds and a youthful spiciness. The long and lively finish is a tribute to the legendary Samurai.
