Cuarenta y tres' is Spanish for 43. It stands for 43 natural, secret ingredients. To this day, there are only three people who know what those ingredients are, and Licor 43 is still produced exclusively in Cartagena. Of course, with good tasting, some ingredients can be guessed, including citrus and vanilla, but we will probably never really know.
By now, Licor 43 has several variants. With all the variants of this liqueur, there is a suitable Licor 43 for everyone and every occasion. Licor 43 proudly introduces a new limited edition taste sensation with a creamy character: Licor 43 Crème Brûlée. Inspired by one of the most famous desserts in the world: crème brûlée.
