The Mazzetti family began distilling in 1846, fifteen years before the unification of Italy. Filippo Mazzetti established his first distillery in the heart of Monferrato, in Montemagno, which was later moved to Altavilla in collaboration with his son Luigi. With the arrival of the new century, the Mazzetti d'Altavilla distillery grew larger and larger, as a result of dedication to tradition and hard work.
