Hakushu Peated Malt Aged 18 Years is an example of the art of combining ingredients, techniques, and terroir. Throughout our long history of using peated malt, the blenders at House of Suntory have harnessed the Hakushu climate to reveal complex layers of flavor from the robust smoky character of the peated malt. Long maturation, catalyzed by the exceptionally pure water of the Hakushu Distillery, reveals a wave of pure smoke, deepening into spicy mineral notes and undertones of ripe apples.
