Tequila Los Abuelos, later known as Fortaleza, is a tequila brand with a rich history dating back to 1873. Produced and bottled on the family estate in Tequila, Jalisco, Mexico, using traditional processes started over 125 years ago by the "Tatarabuelo" (great-great-grandfather). Aromas of citrus and rich cooked agave fill the nose in this unique and very special blanco tequila. Also present: butter, olive, earth, black pepper, and a deep, inviting vegetal complexity. The palate features citrus, cooked agave, vanilla, basil, olive, and lime. The finish is long and deep, complex yet easy to drink. Fortaleza Blanco is the tequila for true enthusiasts.
