In 1956 the Meffre family bought this Chateau in Saint-Estèphe, a stone's throw from various Grand Cru vineyards. A hidden treasure amidst a prestigious terroir, with a fantastic price-quality ratio. Vintage 2017 is made from 55% merlot and 45% cabernet sauvignon, harvested in September. After aging for 12 months in partly new oak barrels, this wine has a dark, ruby red color with smoky aromas, fresh fruit, licorice, and white pepper. Full of flavor with a warming sweetness.
