What began in 1868 with eighteen members has become a success story in the Ahr Valley. The Mayschoß wine-growing association grew quickly, with the first cellar in 1873 and already 141 members in 1881. On March 22, 1982, the merger with the Altenahr wine cooperative was decided, and from that moment the Mayschoß-Altenahr wine cooperative has existed. The cooperative has 444 members, who together manage about 150 hectares of vineyards. Discover these special German wines, made from Spätburgunder, or pinot noir.
