What began in 1868 with eighteen members has become a success story in the Ahr Valley. The Mayschoß winegrowers' association grew rapidly, with the first cellar in 1873 and already 141 members in 1881. On March 22, 1982, the merger with the Altenahr wine cooperative was decided, and from that moment the Mayschoß-Altenahr wine cooperative has existed. The cooperative has 444 members, who together manage approximately 150 hectares of vineyards. Discover these special German wines, made from Spätburgunder, or pinot noir. The juicy and fresh "Gründerwein" is an ode to the tours that have been given in the wine cellars for decades and shows a photo of this on the label.
