This wine comes from 50-year-old vines and has a nose of tropical fruit and grapefruit. The wine has impressions of peach on the palate and is beautifully balanced. The onset is fresh but full, and in the finish, it has excellent length. The Vieilles Vignes rouge is beautifully full but soft. The wine has a nose of ripe red fruit and blackberries and a hint of cherry on the palate. The supple but present tannins, together with the beautiful spicy aftertaste with a hint of bay leaf, make this a top wine.
