The wine is framed by new French oak and is deep, dark, with fine spicy aromas of savory pepper, licorice, and vanilla, followed by a rich chocolate-like and concentrated character of dark berries, wrapped in a firm structure of tight tannins and a fine acidity. A beautifully balanced and well-made cross-regional blend with a lot of finesse and excellent aging potential.
