La Prima is the name of the vineyard, and here the Sangiovese and Merlot grapes grow on clay soil. This results in a full-bodied wine with generally more mouthfeel. Furthermore, the aromas of this wine are red fruit, cherries, and wood influences. The tannins are firm, yet already round and elegant. This is a wine to pair with typical Italian dishes.
