Atlantique is the IGP title that encompasses red, white, and rosé wines made in a large area on the west coast of France. The climate is maritime, with the Atlantic Ocean providing both warmth in the winter and cooling influences in the summer. Long, sunny summers ensure good ripening conditions, and gentle sea breezes bring movement and freshness to the vineyards, particularly in the most western parts of the Atlantique region.
