No celebration worthy of its name takes place without a good bottle of sweet wine. For Villadoria, the unmistakable aromas make Moscato d'Asti the ultimate dessert wine. The Moscato grapes from the estate grow on the hills of Serralunga d'Alba. It is the only town in the Barolo production zone where the cultivation of Moscato is permitted, thanks to the centuries-old tradition of Tenute del Re di Italia (the king of the Italian estates).
The color is straw yellow, with subtle golden highlights and a fine, persistent perlage. The bouquet is rich in floral and fruity notes, characteristic of this aromatic variety, with orange blossom, peach, and apricot blossom taking center stage. On the palate, the wine is pleasantly sweet and fresh, naturally lively.
This sweet, sparkling wine pairs perfectly with all desserts and is ideal for festive occasions in good company or as the perfect end to a meal.
