Powerhouse from Argentina, largely made from Malbec. Great aromas of blackberries and plums with spicy, floral notes. Delicious with game dishes, stews, or grilled meat.
Malbec originally comes from France, but according to experts, it gives the very best results in Mendoza. The soil of Clos de los Siete consists of a composition of stone, clay, and sand. There is little precipitation, causing the vines to root deeply to obtain water. In this way, they also absorb minerals and nutrients from the different soil layers. This results in a wine with a lot of complexity. After a manual harvest, the grapes are processed and fermented with great care. The wine rests in French oak barrels and is not filtered.
