Vintage Port is only made in very exceptional years. Aged in oak barrels, it is then bottled, without any filtering, between the second and third year after the harvest. Vintage Ports then mature for many years in the bottle, gradually reaching the excellent style of a great wine. Serving tips: Ideal as a dessert or convivial wine, excellent with strong cheeses like stilton and roquefort, and chocolate. Serve at 18°C/64°F. Decanting beforehand and careful serving are recommended. Intense ruby in color, aromas of flowers and rose water. Red fruit with a hint of mint. Silky, balanced, and elegant.
