Kopke Fine Tawny Port is a ripe, mildly sweet port. It has a vibrant brown-orange color, typical of Tawny Ports. The Fine collection from Kopke is always made from port wine aged for three to five years in wooden casks. This is a fruity port with vanilla notes from the wood aging. It can be stored well; over the years, it becomes smoother and more complex. Very enjoyable after a meal with a piece of cheese.
Nose: Fruity with vanilla notes.
Palate: Mildly sweet, ripe fruit, hints of wood.
Finish: Smooth, with increasing complexity over time.
