Rocamadour is a French cheese made from the milk of goats that are kept on the Causses du Quercy, an area with limestone plateaus that largely falls within the department of Lot. The center of production is the village of Rocamadour, one of the tourist attractions of the Lot. This small white cheese with a mild flavor becomes more pronounced as the cheese matures further. However, in principle, the cheese is sold and eaten young and has a fine, creamy taste.
