Tuna (yellowfin) is a collective name for several species of ocean fish from the mackerel family. These fish are found year-round in the Atlantic Ocean, Pacific Ocean, and the Mediterranean Sea. In spring and summer, they migrate northward and sometimes reach the North Sea. They can grow up to 3 meters long and weigh more than 500 kilos. Not only the color, but also the taste of tuna is remarkably similar to meat. Tuna is delicious to serve raw as carpaccio or sashimi.
