WhistlePig Whiskey kicked off its rye whiskey adventure with the archetype – the 10-year-old Small Batch Rye. This whiskey is bold in flavor and full of spices that gain in taste and aroma with each year of aging. The whiskey has aromas of allspice, orange peel, caramel, tobacco, and oak, and in the taste you’ll recognize spicy notes of rye, toffee, vanilla, and mint. A whiskey for true connoisseurs! Delicious to drink neat, but the Maple Old Fashioned also remains a timeless classic in our opinion. 

Ingredients

45mlWhistlePig Small Batch Rye 10YO
5mlMaple syrup
Angostura bitters
Orange zest

Preparation

  1. Pour all ingredients into a tumbler glass. Use three drops of Angostura bitters.
  2. Add an ice cube and stir until the maple syrup is dissolved.
  3. Garnish with an orange zest.
