Vanilla-saffron pears

Serve these pears as a garnish with, for example, your dessert.

Ingredients

100gSugar
1Water
1vanilla pod
saffron threads
Lime leaf
8stewed pears
Slices of fresh ginger

Preparation

  1. Put everything - except the pears - in a pan, mix, and bring to a boil.
  2. Peel the pears and cook them in the liquid mixture for about 20 minutes.
  3. Let cool in the liquid. Serve as a garnish.
