IPA is short for the beer category India Pale Ale, the amber-colored beers with more hops, a higher alcohol volume, and a bitter taste. Most IPAs combine lots of hops and a high alcohol content. The super 8 IPA, with its 6% alcohol volume and beautiful citrus and grapefruit notes, is much more refined and balanced. You get all the characteristics of the style, but without any exaggeration.
