The leaves of this rooibos infusion come from the unique rooibos shrub, which is cultivated on the west coast of South Africa. Traditional rooibos is made by oxidizing the leaves, which gives the characteristic reddish-brown color. Rooibos is caffeine-free and therefore has a milder sweeter taste (honey-vanilla) than regular tea.
