After 132 years, this well-known and iconic butter waffle or ‘Lukke’ has gained a sibling. The recipe for the Lukke remains a closely guarded secret that has not changed over the years. The biscuit is still baked with real, pure butter, Tiense sugar, fresh free-range eggs, and flour. This new butter waffle is also baked according to the same recipe, but is then generously coated with a layer of pure Belgian chocolate.
