Eberhardjes are heart-shaped butter cookies with a hint of vanilla flavor. The cookies feature the recognizable three Saint Andrew’s crosses from the coat of arms of Amsterdam. The crispy cookies are named after Eberhard van der Laan, who was known as a unifier with a heart for his city.
