This beef comes exclusively from Dutch female cattle that graze for most of the year in the meadow or in nature reserves. The calves stay with their mother until they are 12 months old. The diet consists mainly of grains, silage, and hay, ensuring that the meat becomes nicely marbled, with fat threads developing between the muscles. This results in extra tender and flavorful meat that is suitable for various preparations.
