These organic polder chicken chicks are raised in the Netherlands (Flevopolder) with special organic feed, rich in herbs and grains. The chickens have a warm barn, perches, the opportunity to take dust baths, and of course the freedom to roam outside. The chickens are of the French Hubbard breed. This is a slow-growing and strong breed and therefore very suitable for organic farming. The meat is firm and has an old-fashioned fine taste.
