Gildehoen is sustainable meat. The chickens grow up in a barn with straw and daylight and have 24/7 access to water and food. To encourage scratching, feed is scattered in the barns. Due to the lower occupancy in the barns and the availability of scratching and play materials, the animals grow up happily. The poultry farmers find this a pleasant way to see the chickens grow. The gildehoen is lively and healthy. The gildehoen is a pure poultry product. The chickens are mainly fed grains. At least 70% of the food consists of these grains. The feed for these Gildehoenders is 100% plant-based and contains no growth promoters. Also important is that the soy in the feed is RTRS certified. It leads to healthy meat full of flavor and completely free of antibiotics. Suprême means that the meat part consists of a single breast fillet with skin and first wing joint.
