The free-range chicken from Ronsard has the space to roam. The meat is wonderfully tender and of high quality. The chicken has the 'Label Rouge' certification. This is a French certification for animal welfare. The chicken meat complies with the European regulations established for free-range farm chickens. Some requirements are that the breed must be slow-growing. Additionally, a maximum of 11 chickens per square meter is allowed. Indoors, the chickens have 0.09 m² of space and outdoors 2 m². The chickens are about 81 to 87 days old. The feed must also meet certain requirements: it must contain at least 75% grains. All this together ensures perfect and fair meat quality.
