The Pomodoro tomato is a plum tomato. This tomato is also called Roma tomato, Pomodori, or Red Egg. They have an elongated and oval shape (egg-shaped). The flesh is quite dry, making it very suitable for use in salads and on bread. They are orange to red in color and their diameter is at least 25 millimeters. It is a source of vitamin C, potassium, and beta-carotene.
