The anglerfish, also known as monkfish, is a remarkable fish that can grow up to two meters long. On its eerie head, it has a 'fishing lure'. This is a kind of rod (a long dorsal spine) that moves in front of its open mouth. In this way, it lures its prey. With its wide mouth and sharp teeth, it devours it in no time. Although its appearance is rough, its taste is very refined and resembles that of lobster. The flesh has a creamy white color with an orange-like glow. It is glossy, firm, and sweet in taste.
