The GRO oyster mushroom bitterballen and croquettes are 100% plant-based and even tastier! They are made with the finest, fresh ingredients from Dutch soil. Oyster mushrooms have a meaty texture, a good bite, and naturally contain a lot of umami. Moreover, at GRO, these mushrooms are grown circularly using coffee waste streams. With these mushrooms, a creamy ragout is made, which is then coated with a super crispy panko crust. Just a few minutes in the fryer and they’re ready to serve! The 30-gram bitterballen were already generously filled, and the croquettes have been made even more generous at GRO, now weighing 80 grams.
