Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva - the flagship - is an elegant and complex sipping rum consisting of a blend of 80% heavy rums and 20% semi-heavy and light rums that are aged for up to twelve years in three different casks. This blend provides characteristic aromas of maple syrup and licorice. Slightly deeper, there are also aromas of baked banana, vanilla, gingerbread, and hints of orange peel. The taste is full and round, reminiscent of chocolate, toffee, and tropical fruit.
