From the historic warehouses of the Highland distillery Glencadam, master distiller Robert Fleming has selected a single malt that has matured in American oak bourbon casks, blended them, and then finished in Tawny Port barriques from Portugal. It is bottled at 46% ABV without chill filtration and with its brilliant natural color.
Nose: Rich dark fruits and candied cloves with hints of blackcurrant licorice and baking spices.
Taste: Layers of blackberries, blackcurrant jam, treacle toffees, and Morello cherries transitioning into plum crumble and cedarwood spices.
Finish: Warming notes of walnut, golden syrup, and Victoria sponge cake transitioning into toasted wood spices.
