The grapes in the Terrasses de Larzac (carignan, grenache, mourvèdre, and syrah) grow on a combination of limestone and red clay soil along the Lergue river. It is an intense red wine with aromas and flavors of graphite, balsamic, something smoky, and a hint of eucalyptus. The wine has soft tannins and a nice freshness.
