In July 2021, a large part of Germany was hit by floods. This was also the case for the Mayschoss winery. In one night, almost all the bottles of wine were buried under the mud. Besides the nearly 1.2 million rescued bottles that were covered with mud, they were fortunate that many wooden barrels, in which wine was still stored, could be secured. The result is this special edition called ‘Flutwein’.
