This characterful wine comes from Südtirol in Italy. The grapes are specially selected from the Giatl vineyards and grow on lime-rich gravel soils and under a perfect microclimate. To emphasize the fruitiness of the wine, the grapes are gently pressed and fermented for twelve months in small French oak barrels. After bottling, the wine continues to mature in the bottle. This results in a very complex and refined wine with powerful flavors. This wine is made from pinot grigio and pairs well with poultry, fried fish, grilled vegetables, and creamy soup.
