Candido Aleatico is a sweet, red dessert wine from Puglia, Italy. Made from 100% Aleatico, a fragile grape with thin skin with a strong rose scent and a distinctive aroma of lychee. The grapes are carefully crushed and after the fermentation has stopped, the wine matures further in wooden barrels. The result? A bright red wine with aromas of muscat and raisins, a full taste and fresh natural sweetness with matured tones. Great with dark chocolate or hard cheeses.
