RucolaCress® is the Koppert Cress brand name for an edible plant. RucolaCress is a small plant with a very strong flavor. The taste can best be described as a mild nutty flavor with a spicy undertone. RucolaCress has a very fine leaf that works well on an amuse-bouche or a canapé. Not only because of the taste, but also because of the decorative value. Mixed into the salad, RucolaCress provides just that little bit of extra spice. For warm dishes, it is advisable to add the cress last. For example, add the cress to a pasta sauce.
