
Hazelnut amaretti
A rich and sweet ending to a beautiful autumn evening.Ingredients
225gFine sugar
200ghazelnuts
35gFlour
2Egg whites
Frangelico liqueur
a little
Preparation
- Blend the hazelnuts with sugar in a food processor until coarse crumbs form. Add the flour, egg white, and vanilla powder and blend into a mixture.
- With wet hands, form balls from the mixture. Place on a baking mat and flatten with the back of a spoon. Bake at 180°C for about 12 minutes.
- Let cool, then briefly soak in Frangelico liqueur so they absorb the moisture. This is best done just before serving.
